Delaware First Presbyterian Church has a rich history of Presbyterian Women’s Circles. The purpose of FPC’s circles is to nurture each member’s faith through prayer and Bible study, to support the mission of the church worldwide, and to promote a warm and caring community of women that strengthens each individual as well as the church as a whole. Currently, there are two circles at FPC. They meet at different times and locations to fit every woman’s busy schedule.
Abigail Circle
Abigail Circle meets on the third Thursday of each month of September through May at 7:30 p.m. in the homes of members. Jane Sprague is the coordinator of Abigail Circle.
Thursday, April 19, 7:30 at the home of Brenda Wilson, 4441 St. Rt. 37 W, Delaware. Please let Brenda know if you are able to attend at 368-9710.
Willa Hutchison Circle
Willa Hutchison Circle meets on the second Thursday of April through December at 2:00 p.m. at the church. Elizabeth White is the coordinator of Willa Hutchison Circle.
All women, including those who don’t regularly worship at FPC, are welcome and encouraged to join one of the circles for study, outreach, fellowship, and refreshments. For more detailed information about current activities, mission projects and Bible studies, speak to Jane and Elizabeth. Upcoming meetings are always shown in our Sunday bulletins and on the church calendar.
