Time to Order Fall Study Books – Simon Peter “Flawed but Faithful Disciple”

He was not rich or educated, but was familiar with hard work. He was quick-
tempered and impetuous, but possessed a passion that would change the world.
He left everything to follow his teacher, yet struggled with doubt and fear.

Join one of two adult study groups as we take an in-depth dive into the life, faith,
and character of the disciple Simon Peter, using Adam Hamilton’s book, “Simon
Peter- Flawed but Faithful Disciple”. The goal of the study is to give us a sense of
the man Peter, understand his story and learn how his story speaks to us today,
with the hope that from Peter’s life we may come to know Christ more fully and
become the disciples Jesus calls us to be.

Two classes will be offered: Monday evenings from 7-8 p.m. and Wednesday
mornings from 9-10:00 a.m. beginning September 13 th and 15 th in the church
library.

The book, “Simon Peter-flawed but faithful disciple”, by Adam Hamilton, may be
ordered from Amazon.com or Christian Books.com or from your favorite book
store. Used copies start at $6.00; new at $8.00 plus shipping.

To register for the class, please email Peggy Stringham at casnpeg@msn.com or
