All are welcome to worship as we celebrate the joyous season of Advent! Rev. Jennifer E. Hinkle begins a new sermon series titled Messianic Prophecies of Jesus with sermon title “The Importance of the Family Tree”. Scripture readings from Jeremiah 33:14-16 and Luke 3:23-37. Youth of FPC will help lead worship as we light the Candle of Hope. We will celebrate Communion and all are invited to partake. Special music by the Chancel Choir and Joe Musser, organist. Children and Adults – join us after worship for our kick-off of the Advent Season! We’ll share a pizza and salad meal followed by a game and crafts that tell the Christmas story.

Thanksgiving in a Bag Carry Out Meal – November 23rd @ 5pm

First Presbyterian Church of Delaware, Ohio invites you to come pick up a carry out bag of ingredients for your Thanksgiving feast! Each bag feeds a family of four including many Thanksgiving staples: turkey, mashed potatoes and gravy, green beans, corn, stuffing, cranberry sauce, and a whole pie! All are welcome! Upon arrival, please join the car queue, pull into the left side parking lot connected to the back doors of the church (left side parking lot from N. Washington Street). We will be distributing all Thanksgiving meal bags out of the church’s back doors and to you in your car. No prior registration or sign up is required!

Thanksgiving in a Bag is a special program started by our FPC Kitchen and Meal Outreach in 2021 as an extension to our Carry Out Meal nights. We are so grateful for all of our local community members, community partners, and volunteers that make this free service possible.
